Dennis Schroder doesnt often come up in Hall of Fame conversations, but Steve Nash and LeBron James believes it should.

They both made a surprising argument for the new Kings point guards legacy, citing his international rsum as proof of a Hall of Fame-worthy career.

Hes a Hall of Famer, Nash said on The Mind the Game podcast. Think about it. I mean, he was basically MVP of the world championships, MVP of the Euros, a semifinalist of the Olympics. I mean, thats not a FIBA Hall of Famer, I think thats probably [a Hall of Famer] Because its the totality, people get in for college careers, high school and that stuff so [international play] is a part of the puzzle.

I mean, pretty impressive. Terrific NBA player, but hes not an All-Star, hes not been an All-Star. You can see him playing at an All-Star level on certain nights for sure, but the way hes been able to dominate the international game.

James, who played alongside Schroder in Los Angeles, agreed that his former teammates body of work shouldnt be underestimated.

I wouldnt be shocked if Schroder became a Hall of Famer, he said. I seen a lot of the stats as well and a lot of the accomplishments as well this summer after EuroBasket. If it happens, I wouldnt be like Oh my God Im surprised! Hes put in the work, man And thats a big part of our game. The international game is a big part of our game in the whole grand scheme of things. What theyve been able to accomplish, what theyve been able to do, come here to America and play in our league and a lot of our guys go and play overseas as well. Its all totality.
