After the quick end of his collaboration with Croatian legend Goran Ivanisevic, former world number 3 Stefanos Tsitsipas decided to resume working with his father Apostolos to give a positive turn to his career which has entered a stagnant phase.
The Greek ace has moved a long way from the top positions of the ATP rankings and the goals he had at the beginning of his career now seem out of reach, considering that two young champions like Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have taken control of the men's tour and could dominate for a long time.
Since his father returned to his box, 'Tsitsi's' results have not particularly improved and the last tournaments of this season represent his only way to gain some confidence in view of 2026.

Tsitsipas is happy with his father
The winner of the 2019 ATP Finals has had to go through several hard times in recent months, also due to the end of his love-story with his colleague Paula Badosa. He is trying to focus only on tennis, but it will take some time to observe the results of his work. The champion from Athens still has time to return to the Top 10 of the ATP rankings, but he must start moving in the right direction by avoiding mistakes or distractions.
In a longinterview for the ATP website, Stefanos explained how the relationship with his father has changed: "Our dynamics have definitely changed compared to the past and I'm happy with the way we're working now. I am proud to have built a new relationship with my father, in which everyone adapts to the needs of the other. My father has been on the tour for many years and has won a lot of tennis during his lifetime, which is why I am really happy to have him by my side. At the same time, I don't rule out adding another person to my team in the future."
