
The Miz isnt holding onto old grudgesand he doesnt think CM Punk is, either. While the two once had one of the most bitter real-life rivalries in WWE, Miz is now making it clear that CM Punk has changed, and not in a small way.
During an interview on Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez, The Miz opened up about his recent backstage encounter with Punk. This wasnt about rehashing drama or clearing the airwhat really shocked The Miz was how different Punk felt compared to the man he used to know.
Its not just that Punk was more relaxedThe Miz saw real growth in someone who used to carry a chip on his shoulder the size of the wrestling industry.
Considering their volatile past, the idea of The Miz speaking so positively about Punk wouldve been unthinkable just a few years ago. But this wasnt a forced media moment or PR stuntit was Miz reacting in real time to a guy who clearly seems to have turned a corner.
The Second City Saint has always been one of wrestlings most controversial names, but if The Mizof all peoplecan sense a shift, maybe this is truly a different era for CM Punk.
