Britt Baker hasnt appeared on AEW TV for nearly a year, and many expected her to finally return on AEW Dynamite this week in Pittsburgh. After her absence from the show, it seems we have an unfortunate sign about her future in AEW.
According to PWInsider, it was noted that Britt Baker was not backstage at this weeks episode of AEW Dynamite in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
This comes afterrumors suggested Britt Baker was actively trying to leave the company, but AEW PresidentTony Khan shot those downfast. Khan confirmed Baker hadnever talked to me about leavingand explained that her absence is simply due to AEWs rotating talent policy. He added shed returnwhen the time is right.
Dave Meltzer also reported that if Britt Baker was not going to make her return during the September 24th edition of AEW Dynamite in Pittsburgh, fans might never see her back.
Britt Bakers long absence from AEW Dynamite, including skipping a show in her hometown, is fueling doubts about her future with the company. Even though Tony Khan has said shell be back, the lack of a clear timeline has fans believing her time in AEW really might be over.
