No Mercy has a new title match.
The September 23 episode of WWE NXT brought a lot to the CW. That included booking a match for No Mercy.
A tournament has been going during NXT for a few weeks now to determine who will face Sol Ruca for the WWE Speed Title at No Mercy. The final match came down to Candice LeRae against Lainey Reid this week at the NXT Arena.
This match was only three minutes long, but that is the rule for WWE Speed matches. Sol Ruca and Zaria watched on from the balcony, and they shared messages via handheld dry erase boards. In the end, Reid was able to pull off the win, meaning she will face Sol Ruca on Saturday.
No Mercy will go down on September 27 at the FTL War Memorial in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This new match was quite an addition to the card.
We will have to see if Sol Ruca is able to retain her title at No Mercy. She has a huge upside to her right now, so only time will tell what WWE has in store for her.
