Cody Rhodes has a way with words.
On September 22, 2025, WWE Raw went down at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. Cody Rhodes was in the house after Wrestlepalooza, and he had a lot to follow up on.
Cody Rhodes was able to beat Drew McIntyre in the main event of Wrestlepalooza. He celebrated afterward, but then Seth Rollins stepped up to him. The two will battle at Crown Jewel to determine who is the Crown Jewel Champion.
Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins kicked off WWE RAW with a promo battle. The two will meet at Crown Jewel in two weeks in Australia for the Crown Jewel Title.
Later on, Cody Rhodes was asked to get in the middle of some business between brothers. The Usos lost at Wrestlepalooza, and that was a tough loss for Jey Uso. Jimmy Uso met Cody Rhodes backstage during the show, and he asked for the American Nightmare to speak with his brother.
Cody Rhodes did just as he was asked, and he met with Jey Uso. Cody Rhodes explained to Jey that hes been to the top of the mountain before, and lost on WWEs biggest stages. Cody said that he believes in Jey, and that gave Uce all the confidence he needed to carry on with his match against LA Knight later on in the night.
We will have to see how things build toward the big event in Australia. This will be another notch in WWEs belt. Only time will tell if Cody Rhodes has a lot to brag about as well.
