WWE and AEW went head-to-head on September 7, 2025, as WrestlePalooza and All Out aired on the same night. But one claim from a fan attending AEW All Out in Toronto is stirring controversyand if true, it could expose just how far WWE is willing to go in its battle with Tony Khans promotion.

A fan who sat in section 107 at the Scotiabank Arenadirectly behind the hard cameratold Ringside News that they were asked to relocate by an AEW staff member shortly after the event began. According to the fan, they and around 15 others were moved to section 119, which directly faces the hard camera.

The real twist came from who was sitting nearby. The fan said they were told by a Scotiabank Arena employee that WWE had allegedly bought the seats in their original section with the goal of leaving them empty on the pay-per-view broadcast.

While the story has yet to be confirmed, the timing and intensity of the WWE vs. AEW rivalry have given it traction among fans. The two companies were in direct competition that night, with All Outs main event overlapping the early portion of WrestlePalooza.

This isnt the only strange claim to come from the All Out crowd. Another attendee said they were forced to give up their floor seats due to an awful odor in their section, leading to yet another disruption in the viewing experience.

So far, neither WWE nor AEW has commented publicly on the ticket-buying allegation. Theres also no proofyetthat WWE purchased any seats at the event. If WWE really did scoop up seats just to make AEW look bad on TV, is that just smart strategyor a sign the war is getting out of hand? Let us know what you think in the comments.
