CM Punk is no stranger to living life like a comic book heroand now hes made it clear exactly which one hed like to bring to life on the big screen.
During a recent appearance on GQs YouTube channel, the WWE superstar and diehard comic fan got real about his dream superhero role. Punk didnt hesitate when asked which character hed want to playand his answer was pure Punisher energy. In true Punk fashion, he threw a bit of attitude into it too.
This isnt the first time Punks aimed for a fan-favorite role. He previously expressed interest in playing Casey Jones in a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, proving his love for gritty, rebellious characters runs deep.
While its unclear if Marvel is taking notes, Punks bold pitch is now out thereand fans are already debating if hes the perfect fit to wield Frank Castles iconic skull-emblazoned vest.
Whether or not Hollywood comes calling, Punk clearly sees himself as larger than life. And judging by his current WWE run, hes not retiring or slowing down anytime soon.
