At the September 20 event, Statlander stunned fans by dethroning Timeless Toni Storm in a triple threat match for the AEW Womens World Championship. Using a perfectly timed seat belt pin, she snatched the title in what many are calling a breakout moment.
Shortly after her win, Statlander shared her reaction in a digital exclusive posted on AEWs social media. She admitted even she was caught off guard by how fast it all happened.
But that wasnt allStatlander reminded everyone of her place in AEW history.
The former TBS Champ emphasized the years of hard work it took to reach this point.
And shes already calling out anyone who wants next.
With that, Statlander officially plants her flag as the new face of the AEW womens division.
