You never know who will show up at an AEW pay-per-view.

AEW All Out 2025 took place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and one of the marquee matches featured the reunion of Adam Copeland and Christian Cage as they teamed up against FTR. This was an amazing match in Canada, where two of the best tag teams of all time squared off against each other.

For Copeland and Cage, the match carried historical weight. Their last official televised tag team bout before reuniting in 2025 was on the March 28, 2011, episode of WWE RAW, where they defeated Alberto Del Rio and Brodus Clay. After more than a decade apart, the two reunited in August 2025 at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

This match kicked off the All Out event, and it included an appearance from Trailer Park Boys Bubbles and his Green Bastard alter ego. It was received very well by the Canadian fans as the Green Bastard suggested that Cope and Christian check FTRs oil during their match.

The two teams got started off slow as they felt each other out. Then things started to pick up, with FTR wanting to prove that they are Top Guys over the legendary E&C team.

This match kept going with several near falls, and eventually both teams were on the mat. The match carrier on longer as Cope and Christian locked in dual sharpshooters on FTR, but they got out of the submission holds.

FTR returned fire with some double team moves on Copeland, but he kicked out. Eventually, Beth Phoenix came out to take Stokley Hathaway out. This drew a huge pop from the fans, but the match kept going as Copeland score a near fall. Beth carried Stoke off after that.

FTR actually mounted a comeback after that, but they couldnt close the deal. The former Revival nailed a Shatter Machine after that, but they didnt get the pin. Then Copeland nailed a spear to win the match.

After the match was over, Beth Phoenix took a double tombstone from FTR while Adam Copeland was handcuffed to the ropes. Obviously, this storyline is not over yet.

This was quite a way to kick off All Out. Fans in Toronto certainly saw a historic match with this one.
