Tony Khans name often finds its way into WWE conversationsat least among fans. But a recent claim suggesting that WWEs creative team uses the backstage code name Snowman for the AEW President has now been shut down by multiple internal sources.
The original report came from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, which stated that the Triple H-led creative team casually refers to Khan as Snowman during internal discussions. The nickname quickly gained traction online due to its implications and timing, especially with AEW and WWE heading into a competitive weekend featuring All Out and Wrestlepalooza.
However, Ringside News can confirm that no one in WWE higher up uses that nicknameand many in the company are too focused on business to bother keeping tabs on AEW.
WWE is too busy breaking records and putting on good television, a source previously told Ringside News regarding AEW matters.
Fightful Select also reported that several WWE staffand even a higher-upreached out to deny the nicknames existence.
While fans love the drama of a behind-the-scenes war between AEW and WWE, this situation seems to be more fiction than fact. Internally, WWE appears focused on its own massive momentum, not code names or indirect jabs.
