WWE SmackDown got a jolt of chaos on September 19 when Brock Lesnar returned to kick off the showbut things took a surprising turn after the commercial break that may have major implications for WrestlePalooza and beyond.
After tearing through ringside and delivering two brutal F5s to Corey Graves, Lesnar was shown backstage where he crossed paths with none other than Paul Heyman. The tension was immediate. Heyman stood flanked by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed as Lesnar approached.
Lesnar patted his former advocate on the chest and looked him dead in the eye before saying, We should talk.
Earlier in the night, Lesnar had thrown Michael Cole over his shoulder and dumped him in the ring before turning his attention to Corey Graves, who hadnt taken a bump in years due to his history of concussions. Fans chanted one more time as Lesnar nailed Graves with a second F5, all while yelling into the camera that John, Im coming for you! Its D-Day tomorrow! Im coming for blood!
Lesnar is set to face John Cena at WrestlePalooza in what could be one of Cenas final WWE matches. But with Brock now exchanging words with Paul Heyman backstage, theres more at play here than just Cenas farewell tour.
Do you think Brock? Lesnar is planning something bigger with Paul Heyman and The Vision? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
