Carlos Alcaraz is enjoying a special week in San Francisco ahead of the Laver Cup. As always at this competition, it's not everythingabout tennis, and the young Spaniardloves it!

World no. 1 joined Roger Federer for a round of golf, combining two of his greatest passions alongside his idol. A photo from San Francisco showed both legends dressed in golf attire.

As was expected, it quickly sparked excitement among tennis and golf fans alike. With Alcaraz, it's always like that when he finds time to enjoy on the green course.

Unlike Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, Carlos never faced Roger on the ATP Tour. However, they embraced a light practice session at last year's Shanghai Masters.

After that, the two legends watched the title clash between Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic. Elevenmonths later, the Spaniard and the Swiss found another common ground in San Francisco, this time on the green course.

Golf has become a major outlet for Alcaraz over the past few years, following the footsteps of his great compatriot, Rafael Nadal. With a handicap of 14, the 22-year-old enjoys competing on the grass almost as much on the tennis court.

He often travels with his clubs, and we saw him celebrate his US Open victories with golf-swing gestures, showing how much this sport means to him. Carlos provided seven swings for seven triumphs in New York.

Thus, he lifted his sixth Major trophy at 22 and wrote history books! A few weeks later, the youngster shared his passion with the 20-time Major winner, which created a memorable moment just two days before the start of the Laver Cup.

Alcaraz will try to lead Team Europe toward the title defense after providing eight points in Berlin last year on his debut.
