WWE is going all out for the September 16 episode of WWE NXT since its the Homecoming special edition of the show. Unsurprisingly, WWE has now confirmed some huge returns for the episode as well.
WWE NXTs official Twitter account took to the social media platform and announced that both Bobby Roode and Bianca Belair will be making their return to the development brand this week. On top of that, even Sami Zayn will return to the show as well.
This weeks episode of NXT is headlined by Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes teaming up to square off against Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano. Apart from that, Tyler Breeze will challenge Ethan Page for the NXT North American Championship.
Bobby Roodes Glorious era was a key part of NXTs golden years, and Bianca Belair rose as one of its biggest homegrown stars before taking over on the main roster. Sami Zayn was also a big name during his time in NXT. Their appearance at Homecoming celebrates NXTs proud past and shows how it continues to build WWEs future.
