Fans may see an exciting return during SmackDown this week.
WWE SmackDown on Friday, September 12, 2025, is taking place at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. You never know who will show up, because Brock Lesnar is also expected. That being said, fans may see another return.
Bodyslam.net is now reporting that Shinsuke Nakamura may be ready for his return to the ring. He may appear tonight during the big SmackDown in Virginia.
Shinsuke Nakamuras last match was on June 13, 2025, on WWE SmackDown in a King of the Ring first-round four-way match. Cody Rhodes won that match over Nakamura, Andrade and Damian Priest.
WWE has a lot of creative irons in the fire, so Shinsuke Nakamura may find himself slotted into one of those available places. Only time will tell how he returns, but fans of the King of Strong Style should be excited about this.
