AEW just knocked WWE off the throne at Londons O2 Arenaand theyve got the numbers to back it up.
During the Forbidden Door 2025 pay-per-view, Tony Khans promotion officially broke WWEs long-standing attendance record at the venue, pulling in over 18,000 fans in whats now confirmed as the largest crowd ever for a pro wrestling event at the O2.
The previous record was held by WWEs Money in the Bank 2023, which drew 17,617 fans. That number stood unchallenged for two yearsuntil AEW came crashing through.
Since its 2019 launch, AEW has kept racking up historic milestones, from All In 2023 at Wembley Stadium to their growing footprint across major arenas worldwide. But this latest record hit especially hard, considering it happened in WWEs backyard and at one of the UKs most iconic venues.
