"I felt like I did some good things. I felt like I could have done things a little better. Overall I didn't really feel like I did too poorly. Just didn't get a lot out of it.."- he said.
Weekend expectations
The public and reporters were skeptical about how much confidence Scheffler had in himself at this point, considering how such a disappointing performance on the second day can have a mental impact on someone.
However, knowing Scheffler, we know that he is a golfer who will not easily experience a mental decline, what's more, he is probably one of the most mentally strong golfers, and that is the reason why he has been on top for two years.
Speaking about his expectations for the weekend, Scheffler admitted that he is not overly worried.

He still feels that his game is going in the right direction, hoping to win a trophy and end the season in style.
"No. I think if I continue to strike it the way I did today, it's just one of those days where it seemed like I wasn't get rewarded for the stuff that I was doing; just a touch off all day.
My game definitely doesn't feel off, but you look at 18, end up a foot off the fairway.
17 I have to chip out sideways.
14 I felt like I hit a good shot in there and it kicked right into the bunker. Just little stuff here and there.
Just wasn't as sharp as I needed to be, and I kind of paid the price for it today.."- he said.
