The August 18th edition of Monday Night RAW saw Paul Heyman saying Tommy Dreamer should be dead. Fans wondered how Dreamer felt about this and now the ECW legend has finally responded to Heymans remarks.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Tommy Dreamer responded to what Paul Heyman said and made it clear he wasnt upset by it. He explained that even Bron Breakker didnt know he was still alive, but that was fine. Dreamer said the mention had him trending at #3 with RAW and the Bengals, which he thought was cool, just another 15 seconds of fame.

Dreamer said he didnt mind his name being used to get heat from the crowd, because it happens all the time. Whenever someone grabs a Singapore cane, people think of him. He was okay with that and didnt feel the need to argue back.

Dreamer added that if wrestlers need to use his name, even though he doesnt work in WWE anymore, to get attention, then thats fine with him. He thought it was a good way to build heat, and he liked that in the end the other guy still lost.

Tommy Dreamer once again showed why hes one of the most respected veterans in wrestling by brushing off Paul Heymans remarks and welcoming the attention it gave him. Despite their long history, Dreamer made it clear he didnt take Heymans words too seriously and thats all that matters in the end.

Do you think Paul Heyman went too far with his should be dead line, or was it just good heel heat? Sound off in the comments.
