Gregorio De Leo, with an excellent performance, finished fourth with a 273 (68, 69, 68, 68, -11), his personal best and a best on the DP World Tour, with a hole-in-one feat in the Danish Golf Championship played on the Fures Golf Klub course (par 71) in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The protagonists of the competition were Englishman Marco Penge, winner with a 268 (64 68 69 67, -16), and Denmark's Rasmus Hojgaard, runner-up with a 269 (-15), after a head-to-head that began in the second round and ended only on the last hole when Penge responded to the eagle on the second hole with the winning birdie (67, -4, five birdies, one bogey), preventing him from winning the title for the second time at his home Open in 2023.

In third place with a 272 (-12), and never in contention for the victory, was the other Englishman Ben Schmidt, in fourth, together with De Leo, also the Swede Mikael Lindberg, in sixth with a 275 (-9) the Norwegian Kristoffer Reitan and the Australian Elvis Smylie and in eighth with a 276 (-8) the American Johannes Veerman and the Finns Sami Valimaki and Oliver Lindell.

In the final, Francesco Molinari moved up twelve spots, finishing 16th with a 280 (66 75 70 69, -4), having suffered a 75 (+4) in the second round. Reigning champion Frdric Lacroix, from France, posted the same score.

Marco Penge, a 27-year-old from Horsham who has been a pro since 2017, secured his second victory on the circuit, preceded by his victory in the Hainan Classic in April. His list of victories also includes two on the HotelPlanner Tour and one on the PGA EuroPro Tour. It was a double success for him, as he also took first place in the special points standings for the "Closing Swing," the last of the five "Global Swing" series of events into which the calendar is divided. He received a $200,000 prize, an exemption to the next nine events, known as the "Back 9," and will be in the field at the BMW PGA Championship (September 11-14, England), the third event of the Rolex Series. And of course, he also took home the tournament's first prize of $467,500 out of a $2,750,000 prize pool.
