Will Ospreay is back and hes got more than just victory on his mind. After returning to AEW Dynamite this week, Ospreay revealed that hes aiming to break a world record when he walks into the 02 Arena in London for AEW Forbidden Door 2025.
During August 13 episode of Dynamite, Ospreay was confirmed for a massive 10-man Lights Out Steel Cage Match. Hell be teaming with Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, Darby Allin, and Hiroshi Tanahashi to face off against Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Gabe Kidd, and The Young Bucks. The event is set for Sunday, August 24, and features seven championship matches on top of this chaotic bout.
Ospreay, who hadnt been confirmed for the show due to ongoing neck issues, made his comeback loud and clear literally. Taking to Twitter after the show, he issued a wild challenge to the fans packing the 02 Arena.
The AEW star is clearly hoping the UK crowd shows up with full force for his entrance, potentially putting Forbidden Door in the record books.
Just weeks ago on the July 23 episode of Dynamite, Ospreay revealed that hed been dealing with serious neck problems for the past year. His return wasnt guaranteed but now that hes back, hes not just aiming for a win. He wants history.
