The chaos at Hulk Hogans private funeral just took another turn. After former WWE star B. Brian Blair claimed that Brutus Beefcakes wife, Missy, was ejected from the service for calling Linda Hogan a vulgar name, Missy is firing back and shes telling a very different story.
Responding directly to the report via Ringside News on Instagram, Missy denied ever being removed from the service and said the situation unfolded much differently than what was originally claimed.
Missy also revealed that Brutus Beefcake suffered a panic attack during the incident and they both left the service voluntarily to get some air.
This contradicts the original account given by B. Brian Blair, who told WrestleBinge that Missy called Linda Hogan the C word, prompting Linda to call security and have her removed.
The incident added unexpected tension to an otherwise emotional farewell for the wrestling icon. The service was held at Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo, Florida and was attended by a long list of wrestling legends including Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Sting, Kevin Nash, Lex Luger, Ted DiBiase, Jimmy Hart, and Eric Bischoff. Brutus Beefcake was also in attendance, despite reports that he and Hogan had not been on speaking terms in recent years.
Absent from the service was Brooke Hogan, who later explained she chose to honor her father in private by visiting his favorite beach with her children.
Hulk Hogan passed away on July 24 at the age of 71 due to a heart attack. A medical report later confirmed he had also been quietly battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia. He is set to be cremated, per his familys wishes.
With both sides now telling different versions of the story, the incident has become another reminder of how real-life tension still lingers long after the spotlight fades.
Who do you believe Missy or Blair? Was this just a misunderstanding, or is there more to this story? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
