Brock Lesnars shocking return to WWE at SummerSlam 2025 has already sparked major headlines, but now its drawing a sharp reaction from the legal team representing Janel Grant in her ongoing lawsuit against WWE and Vince McMahon.
Lesnar closed out SummerSlam night two in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on August 3 with his first WWE appearance in over two years, attacking John Cena after Cody Rhodes main event victory. While the moment had fans in disbelief, it didnt sit well with Grants camp, given that Lesnar is named in allegations in her lawsuit though he is not a defendant.
Speaking to Ringside News, a spokesperson for Janel Grant criticized WWE for bringing Lesnar back while the lawsuit is still ongoing.
The statement went on to reference allegations involving Lesnar that are part of the case, reiterating that the facts will come out in court.
Grants lawsuit names Lesnar in claims that she was allegedly offered to him sexually as part of a bid to get him to re-sign with WWE during Vince McMahons time in charge. Those allegations remain in the complaint and have not been withdrawn.
With Lesnar now back on WWE programming, this legal and PR battle could get even more intense in the weeks ahead.
