WWE prepared a lot of things for SummerSlam, but will The Final Boss be around?
With John Cena and Cody Rhodes set to main event night two of SummerSlam, fans may be expecting The Rock. Right now, that doesnt seem like a popular narrative backstage.
Sean Ross Sapp noted on Fightful Select that people in the company havent been told of any indication that the Rock would be at the show this weekend. It would be interesting to see if he shows up.
As of this writing, people may be expecting The Rock enough to place money on it. In fact, Sky Bet currently lists one of the prop bets leading into SummerSlam 2025 whether The Rock will make an appearance during Sundays portion of the event. As of now, the odds heavily favor No at 500, while a surprise appearance from The Rock sits at +300. This suggests that bookmakers believe a cameo is unlikely, but nothing is impossible in WWE.
John Cena turned babyface once again, as many expected that he would. Now that he has done away with that heel character, in theory, that would cut out The Rock from the equation.
Only time will tell what WWE books for SummerSlam 2025. The main event on Sunday night is certainly going to have a big fight feel as this historic contest goes down.
