Jelly Roll has been putting in the work when it comes to his in-ring training, but it appears he went too hard as the singer revealed he injured himself while training.
While speaking to ESPN, Jelly Roll was asked about the most challenging part of wrestling training. He said it was the physical demands, stating that the idea of wrestling being fake is completely wrong.
According to him, theres nothing fake about landing on a hard piece of plywood in front of 60,000 people or flipping over a cable rope with tens of thousands watching. Jelly Roll admitted that during just the first week of training, he accidentally broke his pinky finger. For him, the experience has been all about nonstop impact and hard-hitting collisions.
Jelly Roll is set to team up with Randy Orton and square off againstLogan Paul and Drew McIntyre in a tag team match at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event this week. Therefore, well have to see whether Roll will be successful in his in-ring debut, as there are a lot of expectations about how hell perform.
