The AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament is heating up, and the Young Bucks just made sure theyre still in the game.
During the July 30 episode of AEW Dynamite, Matt and Nick Jackson defeated The Outrunners in a quarterfinal clash to move forward in the tournament. After losing their EVP status and a string of high-stakes matches, the Bucks are looking to bounce backand this win puts them two victories away from a tag title match at Forbidden Door in London.
The Outrunners brought the energy, but the experience and chemistry of the Bucks proved too much. With a hard-fought finish, the Young Bucks closed the match strong and now look ahead to a semifinal showdown.
Meanwhile, the left side of the bracket is already stacked. On AEW Collision, the Bang Bang Gang toppled Big Bill & Bryan Keith, earning the right to face FTR, who previously defeated JetSpeed in round one.
