Jade Cargill didnt just change promotions when she left AEW for WWEshe entered an entirely different world.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, the former TBS Champion pulled back the curtain on what its really been like transitioning into the WWE system. Cargill admitted she was ready for the physical demands, but the real shock came behind the scenes. Her first wake-up call? The full-speed pace of WWEs weekly grind.
But even more overwhelming than the calendar was the politics behind the curtain. Cargill said one of the hardest adjustments has been understanding how much relationships factor into success in WWE.
Cargill admitted that her natural instinct to stay in her lane didnt help. She found herself walking into an established circlewhere many stars already have deep ties through their time in NXT. Her confidence may come off as arrogance to people who dont know her, but shes clear on her role.
Asked if theres anything she misses from AEW, Cargill didnt hesitateshe misses the energy of wrestling with talent from the indies.
In AEW, she thrived on experimentation. WWE, she says, has taught her to think differently.
