The July 28 episode of WWE RAW wrapped up in chaotic fashion inside Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, with Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker leaving Jey Uso and Roman Reigns laid out. Reed didnt just deliver a pair of Tsunamishe walked away holding Romans sneakers in the air while celebrating the destruction.
What looked like an off-the-rails beatdown was actually carefully crafted behind the scenes. According to Fightful Select, WWE producers Michael Hayes and Adam Pearce were the minds behind the match between Jey Uso and Bronson Reed. As for the storytelling side of it, writer Chad Barbash was credited with scripting Jey Usos arc during the segment.
The match itself ended in a disqualification when Bron Breakker speared Jey Uso, but that was just the beginning. The beatdown that followed saw Breakker and Reed dominate Jey and Roman. Reed made a statement by snatching the Undisputed Tribal Chiefs sneakers off his feetan unexpected moment that sent fans into a frenzy on social media.
