Mike Calta, the Florida radio host who leaked Hulk Hogans sex tape, isnt shedding any tears over the wrestling icons deathand he made that clear on a recent episode of The Mike Calta Show.
Speaking bluntly, Calta reacted to Hogans passing by referencing the racist remarks Hogan made that led to his temporary exile from WWE years ago. Calta acknowledged a meme circulating online that reminded people of what Hogan actually saidand insisted it wasnt just an offhand comment.
Calta admitted to feeling conflicted, describing his reaction to Hogans death as indifferent at best.
Caltas involvement in the leak of Hogans sex tape is well-documented. According to TikTok user Rasslemanueh, Calta and Matt Spiceboy Lloyd took the DVD from Bubba the Love Sponges office and passed it along to Gawker and the National Enquirer. That chain of events led to Bubba losing his jobwhile Calta ended up landing the morning slot on 102.5 The Bone in Tampa.
Despite being named in Hogans second lawsuit (after Hogan sued Gawker), Calta faced no personal consequences. Cox Media paid millions to settle the case, and Calta kept his job without any formal punishment.
Whether or not fans agree with Caltas stance, his comments leave little doubt: hes not looking back or feeling guilty.
