Bubba Watson impressed the crowd with his performance at the 2025 LIV Golf UK, finishing in second place.

The renowned golfer finished in second place, with a total score of -14 under par, three strokes behind the leader, Joaquin Niemann.

Watson has shown dominance in several tournaments this season, and it is important to note that Niemann felt strong pressure from Watson, especially on holes 13 and 14, where he came close to closing the gap.

After the tournament, Watson looked back on his victory, proud of his game and some of the moments.

Coming back from injury and being so brilliant is anything but easy, but Watson believed he could get back on track.

Speaking about the injury, Watson highlighted how difficult it was to come back, with so many barriers in front of him.

"You always have that dream, right? You have the dream to do that. I challenged myself. Like I knew -- I mean, Tyler was my rehab guy. When I had surgery he said it's a nine-month process to get you back to play, and not at the highest level I want to be at. But to get you back playing where I can hit it 300 yards. I had to build speed back up, I had do everything because of my leg.

So he said it was going to be a two-year process for me to not even -- my muscle to get back to where it needs to be, right? You're going to lose the quad muscle."- he said.

Recovery process

The experienced golfer has repeatedly shown his desire and passion for making a comeback, never once considering giving up.

Although the recovery process was long, Watson taught young golfers a lesson by returning to the golf scene.

Quitting was never an option, and it looks like we could see equally dominant performances from Watson in the coming weeks.

"Yeah, we knew it was a long process, but I always challenged myself to do it so my kids can see me fight through an injury and recovery and then try to play good golf.

It's taken a little bit longer than I wanted to, but no, it's nice seeing this year pay off and the hard work pay off.."- he said.
