Two WWE NXT talents made big moves before RAW went live on July 28 from Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

Karmen Petrovic and Lainey Reid appeared in a tag team match taped for WWE Main Event, where they faced off against Natalya and Maxxine Dupri. The bout ended in a submission loss for the NXT duo, but the exposure marked a major step forward for both rising stars.

This wasnt just a pre-show matchKarmen Petrovic had another spotlight moment later in the night. She was spotted on the entrance ramp during the emotional 10-bell salute for Hulk Hogan that opened RAW, joining the main roster and backstage officials for the tribute to the late WWE Hall of Famer. Being included in such a moment shows the level of trust WWE has in Karmen, even at this early stage in her career.

Also during the Main Event tapings, Akira Tozawa picked up a singles win over Julius Creed, continuing his recent roll.

While Karmen and Lainey may not have walked away with a win, getting that kind of exposure in front of a packed RAW crowd and being part of Hogans on-air tribute signals WWE sees something in both of them. The company continues to test new faces from NXT, and these two are clearly on the radar.
