Fans fondly remember IShowSpeed suddenly participating in the Royal Rumble match this year, where he got brutally speared by Bron Breakker. While many thought it was an organic moment, it appears thats not the case at all.
During WWE Unreal, Triple H gave Stephanie McMahon instructions for the spot involving IShowSpeed during the Royal Rumble match. He explained that just before Tozawas got taken out, Speed would be brought over to the Gorilla Position area, where Stephanie would be talking to him.
The camera crew would already be set up in that space, capturing the moment. Triple H told Stephanie to improvise some conversation with Speed while they brought Tozawa over.
The plan was for Triple H to then call out Speed! to get his attention. When Speed responded, Triple H would surprise him by saying, Youre in the Rumble. If Speed looked confused, Stephanie was supposed to confirm it by repeating, He said youre in the Rumble. Therefore, the whole moment was planned in advance and wasnt organic.
What looked like a crazy, unplanned appearance by IShowSpeed was actually a carefully planned moment, showing how detailed WWEs production really is. Thanks to WWE Unreal, fans now realize that even the wildest moments are often planned in advance, but some people might not like the fact that it wasnt organic at all.
