Rob Van Dam made it clearsome things are more important than a payday.

During a recent episode of his podcast, RVD revealed he turned down a $6,000 offer to appear in a Hulk Hogan documentary because Hogan personally asked him not to participate.

The documentarybelieved to be centered around controversial moments like Hogans Gawker lawsuit and infamous sex tapewas being developed by a major network, possibly HBO. Despite being financially compensated for his involvement, RVD said respecting Hogans wishes came first.

Van Dam added that Hogan didnt want to relive the negativity attached to those scandals. The thought of digging up old wounds wasnt something Hogan wanted to endure, and RVD didnt need to hear that twice.

The moment speaks volumes about the kind of loyalty Van Dam had for the Hulkster. Even with money on the table, RVD didnt hesitate to back off the projectbecause when Hogan asked, that was enough.
