Details are coming to light about what may have truly caused Hulk Hogans deathand they suggest a tragic medical breakdown following spine surgery that may have triggered a fatal chain reaction.
Bubba the Love Sponge, a former longtime friend of Hogan, recently spoke with Dr. Dan, who offered his expert theory on the wrestling legends final days. Hogan underwent neck fusion surgery on May 14 and was believed to be recovering. Dr. Dan suggested that this failure led to Hogan requiring urgent revision surgery. Unlike the initial operation, revision surgeries are notoriously more complex and riskiersomething that may have played a major role in Hogans rapid decline.
He added that the surgery might have caused complications ranging from nerve damage to internal bleeding.
Hulk Hogan died on July 24 at age 71, after emergency responders were called to his Clearwater, Florida home for a cardiac arrest. He was transported to the hospital and later pronounced dead. While the public was aware of Hogans battles with COPD and renal failure, this new medical theory offers a deeper, grimmer look at what may have truly ended the life of one of pro wrestlings most iconic figures.
