CM Punk already dominates the wrestling ring, but hes got his eyes set on something biggerstepping into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as one of its most iconic vigilantes.
In a recent interview with Film Seal, Punk was asked which superhero hed want to portray. Without hesitation, he revealed his top pick: The Punisher. The role is a perfect fit for Punks no-nonsense persona, and he explained why the character appeals to him so much.
Punk also shared a story about writing comics for Marvel, noting that while he didnt get to write about his favorite hero, the experience was still rewarding. Marvel approached him with a project centered on Thorsomething he hadnt expected.
With the Marvel multiverse wide open and wrestlers like John Cena and Dave Bautista already thriving in superhero franchises, CM Punk jumping in as Frank Castle doesnt seem far-fetched at all. Especially with the Punisher already being a multiversal figure, Punks gritty edge could bring a fresh version to the tableif Marvels ever down to make it happen.
