Punk responded by saying hes had a long career full of memorable moments, and this was another one to add to the list. Given their storied past, being part of Cenas final run meant a lot to him, especially since Cena only has a limited number of appearances left.
Punk talked about how special it felt to be involved in something fun during Cenas farewell tour. Punk admitted hes become more sentimental with time and feels a lot of gratitude for still being able to create standout moments. This one, like many others, stood out as unexpected and enjoyable. This moment was incredible not just for the fans, but for him as well.
CM Punk has already confirmed that he and John Cena will not be feuding anymore since their Night of Champions bout was their last-ever match. Regardless, Cena and Punk made sure to give fans more memories this year and thats all that matters to them.
