Nick Kyrgios couldn't agree less with Daniil Medvedev and Lorenzo Musetti's namingJannik Sinner"the smartest player on the Tour," ripping the take as "outrageous."
During the Citi Open in Washington, a couple of ATP and WTA stars were asked to name the smartest player in the game. Medvedev, the 2021 US Open champion, named Sinner. Musetti, the Italian male No. 2 tennis player, made the same pick and added a little extra, saying: Jannik, I don't have to explain this.
Kyrgios watched the video - and needless to say - he wasn't impressed a bit with Medvedev and Musetti's pick.

Sinner is an OUTRAGEOUS person to say right now (laughing emojis)," the Australian wrote.
Kyrgios mocked Sinner rehiring fitness coach Umberto Ferrara
Just before Wimbledon, the Italian tennis star abruptly ended his partnership with fitness coach Marco Panichi and trainer Ulises Badio. A few days ago, the world No. 1 announced that fitness coach Ferrara was returning to his team. If you remember well, the 23-year-old fired Ferrara and physio Giacomo Naldi after his positive doping test last year.
Kyrgios had a strong reaction to the news, suggesting that Sinner "fooled" everyone: "He got the same doc back (laughing emoji). We have been played ladies and gentlemen."
During a recent appearance on the UTS Show, the Australian explained what was his issue with Sinner's doping case and sanction.
"It was just more frustrating because I have friends that were banned for two years for doing party drugs. And then someone that, you know, got tested for that got less time. Thats crazy for me," Kyrgios said.
