AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone isnt entertaining the idea of a WWE returnespecially not when its coming from fans stuck in the past.
After a fan took to her Instagram comments asking her to return to WWE, Mone didnt hesitate to shut it down with a blunt and brutal clapback.
Mercedes made her AEW debut in March 2024 at the Big Business special in Boston. She went on to win the TBS Championship at Double or Nothing in May and most recently challenged for the AEW Womens World Title at All In Texas, coming up short but solidifying her spot at the top of the division.
Her journey in AEW has been fueled by passion and purpose after her exit from WWE in May 2022. Alongside Naomi, Mercedes walked out of the company and officially parted ways in early 2023. Since then, shes carved out a lane entirely on her termsand shes not in the mood for suggestions to backtrack.
Mercedes reply sends a loud message: shes locked in with AEW, and if youre not watching, thats your loss.
