Goldbergs retirement tour isnt getting an encoreat least not in WWE.
During his interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, the wrestling icon shut down any lingering hope that he might pop back up on WWE TV now that his final match against GUNTHER is in the rearview mirror.
Ariel Helwani asked the question fans have been dying to knowwhether Goldberg would be showing up at SummerSlam or making any future WWE appearances. Goldberg didnt hesitate.
Thats a hard stop from a guy whos made sporadic comebacks for years. But in true wrestling fashion, Goldberg couldnt resist leaving the faintest glimmer of a maybe someday.
Translation: Dont expect him back anytime soonbut never say never.
After all, wrestling history is full of retirements that didnt stick. Still, Goldbergs tone suggests hes closing the WWE chapter for good. No farewell tour. No SummerSlam cameo. Just one last fight, and then out the door.
