The 2018 All In event was the first of its kind and it ultimately led to the formation of AEW in 2019. However, it appears that Cody Rhodes sister Teil Rhodes has thrown shade at AEW for not giving her royalties for coming up with the name All In.
A fan took to Twitter, reminding everyone that it was Teil Rhode who came up with the name All In, saying, Never forget it was @TeilMargaret who named All In
Cody Rhodes sister Teil responded by stating that it was very typical of a Rhodes to come up with a big, generational wrestling idea like that and still not get any royalties as she threw shade at AEW, saying, Very Rhodes of me to conceptualize a generational wrestling event and get no royalties.
Bully Ray then jumped in, saying he understood exactly how she felt, since he booked the entire Battle Royal for the 2018 event from start to finish and didnt get any credit either, saying, I feel ya sistah. I booked the entire Battle Royal, from beginning to endand got no credit. . The battle royal that Bully Ray mentioned was the Over Budget Battle Royale that featured Bully Ray in the match as well.
Teil Rhodes responded to Bully Ray, stating that nobody seems to appreciate them, saying, nobody appreciates us Bully!
Regardless, Teil Rhodes comments show how much the Rhodes family has been a part of wrestlings biggest moments, even if they dont always get the credit. However, some fans thought she didnt need to bring it up right now, since All In: Texas is just a few days away.
What do you think? Should Teil Rhodes be given more creditand maybe even royaltiesfor helping shape All In? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
