Jim Cornette is never one to bite his tongue and WWEs Night of Champions finish has him seeing red.
On a new episode of Jim Cornettes Drive-Thru, the legendary wrestling manager tore into how WWE handled the chaotic ending of the Undisputed WWE Championship match between John Cena and CM Punk. While Cornette praised the actual wrestling, the final stretch of the match completely derailed it for him.
But once the referee bump happened and the run-ins started, Cornette made it clear the match was ruined.
As Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Penta, and Sami Zayn hit the ring, the entire match ground to a halt, and Cornette wasnt having it.
The WWE Hall of Famer didnt hold back, calling the whole sequence a completely different match altogether.
After the referee magically recovered seven minutes after taking a shoulder tackle Cena scored the win. But Cornette wasnt impressed with how WWE wrapped things up.
Love him or hate him, Cornette never holds back and this time, hes not the only one questioning WWEs booking decisions.
