Mick Foley knows a thing or two about pain but when it comes to using a microphone as a weapon in the ring, The Hardcore Legend says theres a way to make it look brutal without actually causing damage.
Foley recently appeared on Mavens YouTube channel to break down different wrestling weapons and how much they really hurt. One item that ranked surprisingly low on the pain scale? The microphone.
According to Foley, wrestlers can make the mic shots look and sound vicious with some old-school trickery.
Foley added that done properly, the mic shot is all show and no pain a nice break from the usual bumps and bruises that come with the job.
Given Foleys history of barbed wire, steel chairs, and falls off cages, its safe to say if anyone deserves to take the easy route with a mic, its him.
