The cast of the upcoming Street Fighter movie just got even more stackedand this time, another WWE megastar could be stepping into the fight.

According to Nexus Point News, sources say Cody Rhodes is in negotiations to portray Guile, one of the most iconic characters in Capcoms legendary fighting game franchise. If the deal goes through, Rhodes would join fellow WWE star Roman Reigns, who is already confirmed to play Akuma in the live-action film from Legendary Pictures and Capcom.

Guile, known for his unmistakable flat-top haircut, Sonic Boom attack, and no-nonsense military style, first appeared in Street Fighter II back in 1991. The character has become a staple of the series, with his storyline centered around serving in the U.S. Air Force and avenging his friends death at the hands of the villainous M. Bison and the Shadaloo organization. Fans will also remember Guiles portrayal by Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 1994 Street Fighter film.

Rhodes, who is riding a wave of career momentum, would be adding Guile to his growing acting rsum. After co-founding AEW and returning to WWE, The American Nightmare has already made his mark in television, appearing in Syfys Warehouse 13 and having a recurring role on the CWs Arrow as the drug-dealing villain Derek Sampson. Up next for Rhodes is The Naked Gun reboot, which marks his biggest acting project to date.
