It didnt take long for Mariah May to make her presence known in WWE and now her official televised debut has been locked in.
The former AEW Womens World Champion, who signed with WWE last month, will make her first televised appearance under the name Blake Monroe at next weekends Great American Bash event.
Monroe, who debuted on the June 3 episode of NXT, has already wrestled at an NXT live event against Lainey Reid, but fans have been waiting to see her first official televised match. That wait is now over.
The announcement came during this weeks episode of NXT. As the show closed, NXT Womens Champion Jordynne Grace hit the ring to discuss her upcoming title defense against Jacy Jayne at Evolution. But before she could get far, Jacy and Fatal Influence interrupted and attacked her.
Blake Monroe made the save, running to the ring to help Jordynne fight off the trio. Moments later, NXT General Manager Ava appeared and made it official.
Jacy and Fallon Henley would team up against Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe at the Great American Bash, Ava announced.
The Great American Bash marks Blake Monroes first big test on WWE television as she teams with the NXT Womens Champion against one of NXTs top heel duos.
