Goldberg is set to challenge GUNTHER for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at Saturday Nights Main Event. While its billed as Goldbergs retirement match, it appears his son believes Goldberg will still want to wrestle again after that match.

While speaking to Bill Apter, Gage Goldberg was asked if his father would actually retire if he won the World Heavyweight Championship, or if winning the title might give him the confidence to keep going and make him feel like he still has more left in the tank.

Gage admitted his dad has an incredible level of confidence. He said anything could happen to him and it wouldnt shake him hed stay confident no matter what. Whether he wins or loses, Gage believes his dad would still feel that desire to stay in the ring and keep going.

When asked what might happen if his dad doesnt win and whether that would frustrate him enough to try again, possibly against GUNTHER, Gage said his father does get angry pretty easily, so its possible. But in the end, he wasnt sure and said anything could happen, saying, He does get pissed off really easily, so I dont know. Who knows?

We will have to wait and see whether Goldberg will end up beating GUNTHER and continue competing inside the squared circle, or if he will retire for good. No matter what, fans are excited to see how Goldberg will fare against the Ring General at Saturday Nights Main Event next month.
