Rey Mysterio knows the clock is ticking on his legendary careerbut hes not ready to walk away just yet. The WWE Hall of Famer opened up on LA PLATICA, admitting that retirement is creeping up fast, but watching his son, Dominik Mysterio, rise through the wrestling world has reignited his passion to keep performing.
When asked how much longer he sees himself competing, Rey didnt shy away from the reality that the end is near.
That motivation, he explained, comes largely from seeing his son follow in his footsteps.
Despite knowing retirement is inevitable, Rey made it clear his love for wrestling hasnt faded one bit.
Mysterio also touched on how connecting with fans continues to fuel him, even after all these years on the road.
Between his recent groin tear, the long list of past knee surgeries, and his acknowledgment that retirement is coming, its clear Mysterio is in the final chapter of his storied career. But thanks to Dominikand the fanshes not ready to shut the door just yet.
