Deonna Purrazzo isnt here for the online noiseand shes making it crystal clear that fighting for opportunities in AEW doesnt mean shes bitter or ungrateful.
During her appearance on Muscle Memory, The Virtuosa opened up about the harsh reality of competing in AEWs stacked womens division, explaining how the locker room dynamic reminds her of NXThighly competitive and cutthroatbut with people constantly twisting her words online.
When asked to compare the environments of NXT, TNA, and AEW, Deonna was blunt about the struggle for TV time.
Deonna made it clear her frustration isnt aimed at other women on the rosterits about making sure her own work gets seen and her character gets properly introduced to the AEW fanbase, something she feels hasnt happened yet.
She also pointed out the contrast with TNA, which she described as the most supportive locker room shes been part of, with far less of that cutthroat mentality.
While Purrazzo continues to fight for her spot in AEW and build her name in Ring of Honor, one thing is clearshes focused on the grind, not the drama.
