Aleister Black is wasting no time making an impact in WWE after his return on the April 25th, 2025 edition of SmackDown. Following a four-year absence, Blacks comeback didnt just excite fans its reportedly caught the attention of WWEs top decision-makers too.
According to PWInsider.com, theres been a lot of internal praise for Black within WWE creative circles. The report also states that WWE officials are discussing giving Black a stronger push on SmackDown, with some of the same sources who predicted Damian Priests rise in 2023 backing the idea.
Blacks return hasnt just impressed behind the scenes. His merchandise sales are reportedly off to a strong start, and WWE higher-ups are said to be pleased with his in-ring work since coming back.
Fans have noticed Blacks interactions with some of SmackDowns top stars, and it turns out that was no accident. Sources claim those moments were intentionally done as part of the plan to elevate him further.
With momentum building, it looks like Aleister Black could be on the fast track to becoming one of SmackDowns biggest names.
