Deonna Purrazo has been part of AEW since January 2024 but she still hasnt quite hit her stride yet in the company. Even then, with All In: Texas approaching soon, Purrazzo has now made it clear she feels she deserves to be part of the event, competing in the Womens Casino Gauntlet match.
While speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, Deonna Purrazzo was asked about the upcoming Casino Womens Gauntlet at AEW All In: Texas and whether she would be part of the match.
Purrazzo said she would love to be part of the match and made it clear that she wants to be involved in AEW no matter the stipulation, venue, or whether its on pay-per-view or TV. Deonna mentioned she wasnt part of All In last year, which was upsetting for her, and she feels she deserves to be included this year.
Purrazzo explained that All In is not only AEWs biggest show of the year but also marks the start of a new cycle for the company. Being part of that is important if she wants to become a big name in the womens division moving forward.
Purrazzo also pointed out that the match offers a world championship opportunity. If she wants to face Mercedes Mon or finally get her rematch with Toni Storm, she needs to be in the match and win it. For her, the outcome could shape the direction of the rest of the year in AEW.
As AEW All In: Texas shapes up to be the companys biggest show of the year, well have to wait and see whether Deonna Purrazzo will get to compete in the Womens Casino Gauntlet match. After all, many fans feel she more than deserves to compete and even win the bout.
