John Cena brought plenty of laughs to Fanatics Fest, but it wasnt for his athletic dominanceat least not on the basketball court. The Undisputed WWE Champion took part in a basketball exhibition during the event, and lets just say it didnt go according to plan.
In a video posted by Fanatics on Instagram, Cena is seen stepping up to the free throw line and giving it a shot. He missed badly. From there, he moved to the corner and tried againstill no luck. Even after multiple tries, the result didnt change.
Fanatics didnt hold back with the caption either, poking fun at the WWE legend:
This wasnt Cenas first misfire at the event either. Earlier in the weekend, he also failed during a six-baseball toss and laughed it off like a good sport. His approach has been simplejust have fun and not take himself too seriously.
While he may not be putting up MVP numbers on the court, Cenas off-the-cuff antics, misses, and reactions were more than enough to keep people entertained. Its that kind of energy that made him one of the most talked-about names at Fanatics Fest.
