In 2023,WWE and UFC joined together under one company, TKO and while the synergy has been great, fans have been wondering if theyll see boxing stars appear on WWE as well. While fans continue to speculate, Canelo Alvarez has addressed that happening.
During the press conference for his fight against Terence Crawford, Canelo Alvarez was asked about the connection between WWE and boxing. He was specifically asked if theres a chance fans could see some cross-promotional appearances in WWE.
Canelo Alvarez responded by saying that discussions are happening and theres a possibility he could appear in WWE in the future, saying, Were talking about it, maybe. Maybe youll see me in WWE at some point.
While the Mexican boxing star hasnt confirmed anything yet, his words make it clear that talks are happening and we might see some boxing stars crossover in the future. WWE has brought in real-life fighters before like Tyson Fury, Floyd Mayweather, and Mike Tyson, so seeing Canelo show up at a future WrestleMania or Saudi Arabia event wouldnt be a big surprise.
